Government keeping an eye over rising cases of coronavirus says Health Minister Banna Gupta

Ranchi: Health Minister Banna Gupta said that the state government was keeping an eye on the rising cases of coronavirus in the state and soon a major decision in this regard can be taken.

He said that as per the situation the government will soon take a decision. He said that to save human life is the most important thing and even Chief Minister Hemant Soren was every day monitoring the situation himself.

In wake of the rising cases of coronavirus, the state government has asked the people to celebrate the festival of Shaab-E-Baraat and Holi in their homes and even the procession on the occasion of Sarhul has been stopped. In the last five days, the number of coronavirus patients has increased by three times. Till Friday morning the number of active patients of Coronavirus in the state had increased to 1175.

Health Secretary KK Soan has written a letter to all the DC of the state to increase the number of beds for treatment of coronavirus patients. The Ranchi district administration is also planning to once again open the isolation centres which had been closed earlier.
