Prohibitory orders implemented in Ranchi in wake off Bharat Bandh

Ranchi: The district administration has imposed prohibitory order in the areas falling under the jurisdiction of Ranchi Sardar sub-division in wake of the nationwide bandh which has been called by the Joint Kissan Morcha.

An order in this regard has been issued by the district administration in which it has been said that many parties and organisations are likely to support the bandh and in wake of coronavirus any type of rally and procession has been prohibited.

Further, it has been suspected that the bandh supporters might try to disturb the traffic movement and also cause damage to government and non-government properties including business establishment colleges schools petrol pump shops vehicles which may lead to law and order problem in wake of which the probability orders have been implemented from 5 am to 10 pm in the night on March 26.

As per the orders gathering of not more than five people is banned anywhere on the road. Further apart from government officials or employees no other person can carry arms and ammunitions like gun revolvers, further use of loudspeakers has been banned along with the use of traditional arms.

For those who want to stage peaceful demonstrations, they can hold the same at the ground near Sai Mandir located on Pundag road and can also hand over a memorandum in support of their demands to the deputed magistrate on the spot.
