Patralekhaa Says ‘Heer Sara’ Gave Her More Than Just a Film, It Taught Her a New Skill

Mumbai — Actress Patralekhaa has shared her excitement as her latest film “Heer Sara” arrives in theatres, describing the project as a rewarding experience filled with learning, friendships, and cherished memories.

Taking to Instagram, the actress reflected on her journey while shooting the film and revealed that working on the project helped her acquire a new skill. Though she did not disclose what the skill was, she expressed gratitude for the memorable experience and the people she met along the way.

Sharing a series of photographs from the film and behind-the-scenes moments, Patralekhaa wrote, “This sweet film #HeerSara releases in theatres today. I had a great time shooting for this film. Learnt a new skill, made new friends and memories worth a lifetime.”

The actress posted several pictures featuring co-star Maanvi Gagroo, along with candid solo shots.

Interestingly, the film was initially scheduled for release on May 29 under the title “Heer Sara Aur Pondicherry.” However, just days before its release, the makers postponed the film and announced a new title, “Heer Sara,” along with a revised release date of June 12.

Directed by Kartik Chaudhry, the film stars Patralekhaa and Maanvi Gagroo in lead roles, supported by Arif Zakaria, Shveta Salve, and Nishank Verma. The story revolves around two women whose lives intersect as they confront personal struggles, societal expectations, and embark on a journey of healing, growth, and self-discovery.

Patralekhaa, who made her acting debut with the acclaimed film “CityLights,” has built a diverse body of work across films and digital platforms. Her notable projects include “Bose: Dead/Alive,” “Nanu Ki Jaanu,” “Mai Hero Boll Raha Hu,” “Aar Ya Paar,” and “IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack.”

On the personal front, the actress is married to Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao.
