New Delhi — India’s expanding digital platforms ecosystem is significantly simplifying the business lifecycle — from entry to expansion — by providing faster and more transparent processes through systems such as the National Single Window System (NSWS), Government e?Marketplace and MCA21 Project, the Centre said on Monday.
According to an official statement, the country’s integrated digital infrastructure has improved market access and unlocked liquidity for millions of businesses. The National Single Window System alone has issued more than 8,29,750 approvals involving 32 central departments and 32 states.
India’s corporate ecosystem is also being reshaped by the MCA21 Project, an advanced AI-driven initiative designed to enhance transparency and efficiency. The platform, which includes features such as e-Scrutiny, e-Adjudication and e-Consultation, recorded nearly 3.84 crore filings between 2021 and 2025, the statement noted.
Meanwhile, the Udyam Registration Portal has emerged as a key support system for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). As of February 12, 2026, the portal had facilitated 7.71 crore registrations and supported 33.97 crore jobs.
The portal offers a free, paperless and self-declaration-based registration system for MSMEs. By integrating with databases of the Central Board of Direct Taxes and the Goods and Services Tax Network, it enables a fully digital and documentation-free process, reducing administrative barriers.
“By harmonising central platforms with state-level reforms, India provides entrepreneurs and businesses with an efficient, transparent and reliable gateway to growth,” the statement said.
The Government e?Marketplace has also evolved into a major digital procurement platform connecting sellers and service providers nationwide. The system supports women entrepreneurs, startups, micro and small enterprises (MSEs), artisans, self-help groups and Divyangjan entrepreneurs.
Until February 12 of FY26, the portal recorded order values exceeding ?4 lakh crore with an order volume of over 60 lakh transactions. Its auction module generated more than ?2,200 crore in auctions between December 2021 and November 2025, with participation from over 23,000 registered bidders and more than 17,000 auctioneers.
The government said India has transformed its administrative framework by digitising approvals at both central and state levels through unified single-window portals. Additional platforms such as PARIVESH Portal and e?Gram SWARAJ Portal have also been introduced to improve transparency, reduce costs and simplify regulatory compliance.
