Google Launches Two-Week AI Skilling Programme for Indian Startup Founders

New Delhi — Global tech major Google has unveiled a new two-week skilling programme under its Google for Startups India initiative to empower early-stage founders, startup teams, and aspiring entrepreneurs with the skills to build AI-driven prototypes using Google’s latest artificial intelligence tools.

According to the company, the programme — scheduled from November 27 to December 7, 2025 — will train participants to ideate, research, design, and deploy AI-first solutions using tools such as Gemini, Nano Banana, Imagen, Veo, NotebookLM, and AI Studio.

The curriculum focuses on practical skills across three key areas: AI-First Prototyping, AI-Powered Research, and AI Creative Studio, helping participants convert their ideas into functional, launch-ready AI prototypes rapidly and effectively.

Graduates of the programme will receive a Google-recognised Certificate of Participation and become eligible for the “Build the Future” Showcase in January 2026, where standout innovators will gain exclusive mentorship opportunities from Google experts.

“At Google for Startups, our mission is to make the power of AI accessible to every founder by removing traditional coding barriers,” said Ragini Das, Head of Google for Startups – India. “By leveraging Google’s full-stack AI ecosystem, this programme will enable entrepreneurs to move from concept to creation faster and with greater confidence.”

The initiative is supported by MeitY Startup Hub, Startup India, IndiaAI Mission, and Nasscom.

Panneerselvam Madanagopal, CEO of MeitY Startup Hub, stated that the collaboration aligns with the goals of Digital India and Viksit Bharat, empowering Indian founders to build globally competitive, socially impactful solutions using AI technologies.

Earlier in September, Google had announced a free three-month AI Accelerator programme featuring 20 startups selected from over 1,600 applicants, working across healthcare, finance, climate, and education sectors.

The company also highlighted that India’s generative AI ecosystem has expanded 3.7 times over the past year, positioning the country as the world’s second-largest GenAI startup hub.
