Infosys to offer cloud solutions on Google platform

Infosys is partnering with Google Cloud to help global enterprises modernize their technology infrastructure, migrate systems to the cloud and adopt artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning at scale.

The Bengaluru-based IT services company said the partnership will focus on developing cloud transformation and migration services that businesses can use on demand. The aim is to make it easier for enterprises to move away from legacy systems while building technology platforms that can respond more quickly to changing business and customer needs.

Infosys has already developed a range of AI and machine learning solutions on the Google Cloud platform. These include tools designed to digitize the data supply chain, strengthen analytics capabilities and improve the way companies manage and move data to the cloud.

One of the key offerings is an analytics workbench that enhances existing data platforms and provides end-to-end self-service capabilities. Infosys has also developed solutions such as an information grid for moving data to the cloud and a customer genome that can help businesses better understand their customers and deliver more personalized experiences.

According to Infosys, these technologies can help companies modernize their IT operations while also creating new opportunities to digitize and monetize their businesses. Real-time access to data and intelligent analytics can allow organizations to respond faster to market changes and customer signals.

The partnership comes as companies across industries face increasing pressure to replace older technology infrastructure and meet the expectations of increasingly digital consumers. Moving critical systems to the cloud can also give businesses greater flexibility to scale computing and data resources as demand changes.

Infosys President Ravi Kumar said the rapid pace of technological change was making it increasingly difficult for companies to maintain legacy infrastructure while keeping up with digital consumers.

Google Cloud Vice President Kevin Ichhpurani said customers were increasingly looking for ways to move their existing systems to the cloud so they could take advantage of AI and machine learning.

The collaboration reflects the broader shift among enterprises from traditional IT infrastructure toward cloud-based and AI-enabled systems. For businesses, such technologies are becoming not only tools for reducing infrastructure complexity but also an important part of improving customer engagement, speeding up decision-making and supporting long-term growth.
