People can no longer be mislead as they want only development: Sanjay Seth

Ranchi: Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth asked the JMM and its leaders led by Hemant Soren to clarify as to what kind of ‘Badlao’ (change) they wanted to make in the state.

Addressing a press conference at the BJP headquarters here he said that the JMM should tell what changes it wanted to make as whether it wanted to make an independent the Chief Minister and loot the state or whether it wanted to once again violate the provisions of the CNT and SPT act and do 16 registries in one day and buy the lands of the tribals at throwaway prices.

He said that the members of the Soren family went on to become MLA, MP and Chief Minister but they forgot the great men of the state and in the name of their grandparents they started the ‘Sona Sombarm Dhoti Saree Lungi Yojana’.

Further attacking the JMM he said that the seriousness of the party on the issue of rights of the women and their empowerment can be gauged from the fact that during the 27 month Chief Ministership of Hemant Soren not a single decision for women empowerment was taken while the Lakshmi Ladli Yojna being run for the daughters of the state was stopped whereas the present government has taken many steps for the strengthening of the women and has realised the schemes on the ground due to which there was no doubt that in the upcoming Vidhan Sabha elections the people will vote once again for the double engine government and would make the state get rid of a family-oriented party like JMM.

He alleged that JMM forgot leaders like Binod Bihari Mahto and Nirmal Mahto and have been disrespectful towards the martyrs and also towards constitutional norms.
