Govt should stop loot of tribal land in name of industries: Babulal

Ranchi: Former Chief Minister and JVM(P) Supremo Babulal Marandi once again attacked Raghubar Das government of the state describing it as of being anti-tribal and claimed that in the five years of its tenure the government has given complete freedom for loot of the land.

Addressing a public meeting organised by Aadivasi Jan Parishad in Tamar he said that as part of a conspiracy in the name of Gold mining agricultural land in Parasi land was acquired and is being handed over to the outsiders.

He said that the forefathers had sacrificed their life to protect the land of the tribals and said that in the name of development violation of CNT/SPT Act was being done in the state and the land was being acquired.

He said that after the formation of the state he was given an opportunity to run the state but he was not allowed to succeed and assured the people that if his party comes into power then the locals will be given the rights over the mines and mining.
