Daltonganj: Couple of women lost their lives while three others were injured as lightning fell in Kazinagar under Haidernagar block of the Palamu district.
Police said that a group of women and men were out in open to graze the cattle on Sunday late afternoon when suddenly lightning struck killing two women on the spot while another woman and couple of youth sustained serious injuries.
The deceased included Shiv Kumari Devi (47) and Muniya Devi (40). The injured have been admitted at a local hospital
