Municipal corporation should ensure reach of government schemes in slums: Dharmpal Singh

Ranchi: State BJP organisation General Secretary Dharampal Singh has called upon the municipal corporation to ensure that schemes of the central government reach to people living in the slum area.

Chairing a meeting of the ward councilors here he said that all the schemes of the government are based on Antodaya. He said that the councilors should make efforts to ensure distribution of ration cards, old age and widow pension, PMAY, Ayushman Yojana and Ujjwala Yojana reach to the poor. He said that the central and the state government are dedicated to the poor and downtrodden.

Ranchi Mayor Asha Lakra said that the municipal corporation is working for the betterment of the people. She said that the state government was making continuous efforts to fulfill the dream of Antodaya of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay and the RMC was working with dedication to achieve them. She said that the corporation was working to ensure that all the basic amenities of life reach to every home and called upon the councilors to get involved in this work.

The meeting was also addressed by Deputy Mayor Sanjeev Vijayvargyee
