Impact of Left Parties and their agitation for cause of people will never end: Brinda Karat

Ranchi: CPM Polit Bureau member Brinda Karat said that those political parties which have a clear cut ideology and enjoy the support of the people only they can effectively ward off the growing attacks on the democracy.

Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters here she said that despite weakening at the parliamentary level on the vote and seats occupying front it does not mean that the impact of the left parties and their agitation for the cause of the people will end as it is the Left only which is raising up the issues related to the farmers and the workers.

She said that automobile industry in the country was going through a massive slow down due to which lakhs of people are staring at job loss which also included a large number of people in Jharkhand who are working in industrial areas of Adityapur and Gamharia in Tata. She said that incidents like these bring out in open the hoax claims being made by the Prime Minister over the so-called development in the country.

Over scrapping of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, she said that without taking the opinion of the people of the state it has been spilt and now it has been made the Union Territory and such instance has taken place for the first time in the country. She said that all means of communication were stopped in the state due to which the people were cut off from the entire country which is very condemning.
