JMM takes out Yuva Aakrosh March, Hemant lures voters with reservation plank

Ranchi: The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha took out the Yuva Aakrosh March in the state capital during which its acting president Hemant Soren made a beeline of promises to lure the voters for the upcoming assembly elections.

He promised that in government and private jobs 75 percent reservation will be given to the locals apart from that contracts worth upto Rs 25 crore will be given to Asivasis and Moolvasis of the state. Soren said that he also was in favour of giving 27 percent reservation to the OBCs.

However for all these to happen there was a need to win the political war so that government or Adivasis and moolvasis is formed in the state. He said that the manner in which the people fought and took the state similarly they needed to fight for their rights. He accused the Raghubar government of destroying the dreams of the people and said that the government was busy in the loot of the land and said that deliberately such a domicile policy was framed which was in favour of outsiders and the youth of the state were forced to migrate in search of jobs.

He said that people should think whether outsiders should get jobs here while the locals for whom the state was formed commit suicide. Continuing his attack on the state government he said that there are claims of starting three new medical colleges but in reality there are no doctors or professors in them. Earlier the party workers gathered at Ranchi college grounds and took the march which travelled through DC House, Radium Road, Bihar Club and ended back at the Rajbhawan.
