OPD functions hampered in RIMS as MBBS students protest against NMC bill

Ranchi: MBBS Students in the state’s largest government hospital RIMS boycotted OPD work causing grave problems to the people who had turned up for treatment against the NMC bill.

The agitating students said that the bill is aimed at playing with their future. On last Wednesday also across the state private and government OPDs had remained closed over the bill.

On Sunday a meeting of the MBBS students from first to the final year was held at the RIMS Auditorium in which they had decided that they will not allow the OPD to function as the bill was playing with their future and had also urged the junior doctors association and RIMS teacher association to support their demands.
