Sunil Barnwal and Pooja Singhal hold review meeting with DCs over Mukhyamantri Krishi Ashirwad Yojana

Ranchi: Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Raghubar Das Sunil Kumar Barnwal said that farmers and villages feature in the priority list of the state government and among 35 lakh farmers amount worth Ra 5000 crore would be distributed by the central and the state governments.

Chairing a meeting with the DCs through video conferencing at the Suchana Bhawan here he said that in the first phase 15 lakh farmers would be provided the benefit and money in their accounts would be transferred through DBT. He asked the officials to ensure that data of the beneficiaries is uploaded on the software. Mr Barnwal also directed the officials to dispose of pending cases related to PMFF data so that they can get the benefits of Mukhyamantri Krishi Ashirwad Yojana. Under this scheme on per acre of land the farmers will get Rs 5000 while the maximum payment will be Rs 25,000 for maximum of 5 hectares of land.

Dr Barnwal said that at all cost the farmers should get the benefit of Mukhyamantri Krishi Ashirwad Yojana and said that such officials for employees who would be negligent in registering the name of the farmers under this scheme would be suspended and said that as per need camo should be organised or duty of the employees should be put in shift to dispose of any issues under this scheme and said that on September 3 he would be once again reviewing the progress under the scheme.

Agriculture secretary Pooja Singhal addressing the officials said that at any cost the target of development of the farmers and doubling their income has to be achieved and it is only possible when necessary resources would be provided to the farmers for agriculture.

She said that under Mukhyamantri Krishi Ashirwad Yojana 35 lakh farmers would be provided economic help and in the first phase 15 lakh farmers would be covered. She said that on a priority basis farmers get benefit of the scheme and said that if any problem is being faced in data entry of farmers than they should get in touch with agriculture department so that it the help of IT any problems in the software can be removed.
