Daltonganj: Five children being trafficked to the national capital to work in a toy factory have been rescued by the Chainpur police in Palamu district and a trafficker has been arrested in this connection.
DSP (Headquarters) Surjeet Kumar said that the trafficker Liykat Ansari was taking these children from Rabda village when police got tip off and conducted raids and rescued the children. The police later sent the trafficker to jail and handed over the children for counseling to child welfare committee.
