Inner Wheel Club of Ramgarh Celebrates Sawan Festival with Traditional Fervour

The Inner Wheel Club of Ramgarh organised a Sawan Festival with enthusiasm and festive spirit, bringing members together to celebrate the greenery, joy and cultural traditions associated with the monsoon month of Sawan.

Club members participated in the celebrations dressed in traditional attire, adding a colourful and festive touch to the event. A range of cultural and recreational activities was organised, including Sawan-themed songs, dance performances and various competitions.

The programme offered a glimpse of India's rich traditions and the cultural significance of Sawan, while also providing members an opportunity to come together and enjoy the festive spirit.

Club president Shweta Jain said such programmes are aimed at bringing women together, promoting Indian culture and traditions, and strengthening the bonds of friendship and harmony among members.

She added that Sawan is also closely associated with nature and greenery. On the occasion, club members took a pledge to contribute towards environmental protection and promote greenery in their surroundings.

The celebrations concluded in a cheerful atmosphere with members exchanging greetings and good wishes.
