Man Caught Red-Handed While Burgling Government School in Deoghar

Deoghar: A man was caught red-handed while allegedly attempting to steal from Upgraded Middle School in Dahua village under Sarwan police station limits in Deoghar district. The accused was later arrested by the police, and the stolen articles were recovered from his possession.
The case was registered on the basis of a written complaint lodged by Irshad Choudhary, 46, In-charge Headmaster-cum-Secretary of Upgraded Middle School, Dahua. According to the complaint, the incident took place around 2 a.m. on July 11, when the accused was allegedly caught inside the school premises during the theft attempt.
The arrested accused has been identified as Murli Hajra alias Mohan Hajra, 55, son of Angrej Hajra alias Bajo Hajra, a resident of Devpahari village under Sarwan police station.
Police seized the recovered items from the accused and took him into custody. During interrogation, the accused allegedly confessed to committing the crime.The investigation is being conducted by Sub-Inspector Dharmendra Kumar Singh. Further legal proceedings are underway.
