Congress Reviews SIR Work at Booth Level in Deoghar


Deoghar: Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee Co-in-charge Bela Prasad on Friday visited several polling booths in Deoghar district to review the progress of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls. He was accompanied by District Congress Committee President Rajendra Das, Mohanpur Block Congress President Hemant Choudhary, and Town Congress President Ravi Kesari.During the visit, Bela Prasad inspected Booth Nos. 375 and 376 in Dahijor Gram Panchayat and a booth at Kesarwani Ashram in Mohanpur block. In the presence of Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and Booth Level Agents (BLA-2), he interacted with rural and urban voters and reviewed the progress of the ongoing SIR exercise.
Addressing party workers, Bela Prasad stressed the need to further strengthen the organisation at the grassroots level. He urged Congress workers to remain actively engaged at every booth and carry out the campaign in line with the party's guidelines to ensure that every eligible voter is reached.District Congress President Rajendra Das said party office-bearers and workers across Deoghar district were working with dedication to make the SIR campaign successful. He added that regular reviews were being conducted at every polling booth.Town Congress President Ravi Kesari and Mohanpur Block Congress President Hemant Choudhary also briefed the visiting leaders on the progress of the campaign in their respective areas and expressed confidence that the drive would gain further momentum.
District Vice-President Dineshanand Jha, Amarendra Singh Sona, Kumar Baba, Ajay Krishna Bharti, Pankaj, Rahul Raj, several Congress workers and BLA-2 representatives were present during the inspection.
