Congress Stages Protest Against Price Rise and NEET Paper Leak

Deoghar: The Deoghar District Congress Committee organized a strong protest demonstration and effigy burning program against the Central Government at Tower Chowk on Friday. The protest was led by District President Rajendra Das. During the demonstration, party workers raised objections over the NEET paper leak case, rising inflation, and the continuous increase in the prices of petrol, diesel, cooking gas, and edible oil.Addressing the gathering, State General Secretary Dr. Munnam Sanjay said that the future of the country’s youth was being damaged. He stated that incidents such as the NEET paper leak had shaken the confidence of students and parents. He also said that the constant rise in the prices of petrol, diesel, cooking gas, and edible oil had created serious difficulties for common families.During the protest, Congress workers raised slogans against the Central Government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi before burning an effigy in protest. District President Rajendra Das said that the Congress party would continue to raise public issues and intensify its struggle against anti-people policies from the streets to Parliament.Among those present at the program were State Coordinator Avadhesh Prajapati, senior Congress leader Dineshanand Jha, Town President Ravi Kesari, senior Congress leader Amarendra Kumar Sona, Office In-Charge Ganesh Das, Youth District President Ashish Bhardwaj, NSUI District President Ravi Kumar Verma, youth leader Deepak Kumar Singh, senior Congress leader Harikrishna Rai, OBC District President Vikas Kumar Raut, Media Chairman Brijbhushan Ram, Golu Kumar, Rahul Raj, Mohammad Shyam, Kumar Baba, Nunu Khan, Krishna Kumar Bharti, Aftab Alam, Mohammad Jahid, Minhaj Mirza, Avinash Kumar Dev, Amarendra Bhopal, Vivek, Manjeet, Maqsood Alam, Vashishtha Rana, Ranjit Yadav, and a large number of Congress workers.
