Launch of English Newspaper Hailed as a Historic Step, Hope Expressed for Independent and Fair Journalism

The inauguration of the new office of Reporter Post English newspaper was held in a cheerful atmosphere on Thursday, May 14, in the holy city of Baba Baidyanath, Deoghar. On this occasion, public representatives, social workers and office bearers of various organizations described it as a historic initiative for Deoghar and Santhal Pargana. They extended their best wishes to Reporter Post Editor Nityanand Shukla, the editorial team and all staff members, wishing continuous growth and success for the newspaper.

 

Deoghar MLA Suresh Paswan said that the inauguration of the Reporter Post office is commendable. He stated that the launch of an English newspaper in Deoghar would provide better reading opportunities for students, youth and general readers. He added that Deoghar has now gained international recognition, attracting devotees and tourists from across the country and abroad. Through this newspaper, news related not only to Deoghar but the entire state would be reported from here. He expressed hope that the newspaper would publish accurate and unbiased grassroots-level news for the benefit of society.

Deoghar Municipal Corporation Mayor Ravi Raut said that the Deoghar edition of Reporter Post would now be published daily across the entire Santhal Pargana region. Congratulating the entire team and the owner of the institution, he wished the newspaper rapid growth and a strong place in the hearts of readers. He said truth and credibility are the most important elements of journalism and hoped the newspaper would maintain these values.

Former Minister Raj Paliwal described the day as historic for Deoghar. He said that although several newspapers had earlier been published from Santhal Pargana, the launch of an English newspaper like Reporter Post in the city of Baba Baidyanath holds special significance. He highlighted that the printing and publication work of the newspaper is being carried out entirely on the soil of Deoghar, which makes it truly historic. He prayed to Baba Baidyanath for the success of the newspaper.

District Twenty-Point Committee Vice Chairman Munnam Sanjay said that the beginning of an English newspaper publication from Deoghar is a matter of pride for the entire region. He noted that until now no English newspaper was being published from here, which had long been disappointing. He expressed hope that Reporter Post would send a positive message to readers and visitors arriving from across the country and abroad.

BJP District President Sachin Ravani congratulated the entire Reporter Post team and editorial board. He said the newspaper should become an example of independent journalism. According to him, delivering fair and truthful news to the public is the true purpose of journalism, and he hoped Reporter Post would create a unique identity across Deoghar and the entire state.

BJP leader Rita Chaurasia said that the inauguration of the Reporter Post office is a matter of pride and happiness for Deoghar. She extended her best wishes to all staff members and editors of the institution and wished them a bright future. She also prayed for the newspaper’s continuous growth and success.


Ravi Kumar Keshari,President, Deoghar Chamber of Commerce and Industries, described the occasion as a golden day for Deoghar. He said students preparing for competitive examinations would now benefit from an English newspaper published locally in Deoghar, which would help them in their studies and preparation. He also congratulated the media staff and editorial team and wished the newspaper success.

Former Deoghar MLA Narayan Das expressed happiness over the inauguration of the Reporter Post office and the launch of its English edition. He said the publication of an English newspaper in the holy city of Baba Baidyanath is a historic initiative that will give new recognition to news from Deoghar and Santhal Pargana. He stated that fair and public-oriented journalism plays an important role in guiding society in the right direction. He wished success to the institution, its editors and the entire team.

Ward No. 18 Councillor Shailaja Devi expressed happiness over the inauguration of the new Reporter Post office and said that the launch of an English newspaper in Deoghar is a matter of pride for the entire city. She said it would provide students, youth and readers with better access to information and quality news. She also expressed hope that the newspaper would highlight social issues and public concerns prominently, while wishing continuous progress and success to the entire institution and its team.
