15-Year-Old Boy Dies After Drowning in Deep Water; NDRF Conducts Rescue Operation

Deoghar :–A tragic incident took place in Bargachha village under Rikhia police station area of Mohanpur block in Deoghar district, where a 15-year-old boy died after drowning in deep water. Following the incident, acting on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate Shashi Prakash Singh, teams of the NDRF and local administration immediately launched a rescue operation. After several hours of effort, the body of the teenager was recovered from the water around 12:20 PM with the help of deep-water divers.
The deceased was identified as Neeraj Kumar Yadav, son of Kesar Mahto Yadav, a resident of Bargachha village. The incident has left the entire village in mourning. The district administration has appealed to local residents, especially youngsters, to avoid bathing in deep mines and water reservoirs for safety reasons.
