Jamshedpur Shocked Over Triple Murder

Jamshedpur: A horrifying case of suspected domestic violence turned deadly in the Agrico area of Jamshedpur on Monday, after three members of a family were found murdered inside their home, sending shockwaves across the city.

The incident occurred at Quarter No. L-13, Road No. 2 under Sidhgora police station area, where police discovered the bodies of Sarita Singh (55), her daughter Supriya Singh (31), and son Ravishek Kumar (30).

Supriya, who was married, was reportedly pregnant at the time of her death.

Police have identified Ravindra Prasad Singh, a retired employee of Tata Steel and husband/father of the victims, as the prime suspect.

He has been missing since the incident and an intensive search has been launched to trace him.

According to preliminary investigations, the victims were brutally attacked with a sharp-edged weapon.

While local sources suggest an axe may have been used in the killings, police have not yet officially confirmed the murder weapon.

In a disturbing twist, sources said the accused himself allegedly contacted the police to report the incident before fleeing the spot.

On receiving the information, Sidhgora police rushed to the residence, cordoned off the area, and began collecting evidences.

As news of the triple murder spread, large numbers of residents gathered outside the house, leaving the usually quiet Agrico neighbourhood gripped by fear and disbelief.

Neighbours said Ravindra Prasad Singh had retired from Tata Steel earlier this year, and the family had reportedly been dealing with internal tensions in recent months.

However, few imagined the situation would escalate into such a brutal tragedy.

Police are currently questioning neighbours and relatives, while forensic experts are expected to assist in the investigation.

Multiple teams have been deployed to locate the accused.

The brutal killings have stunned Jamshedpur, highlighting growing concerns over unresolved domestic conflict and mental health distress within families.
