Search Intensifies for Missing Ranchi Toddler Aditi, CM Hemant Soren Steps In

Ranchi: Anxiety continues to mount in Ranchi after one-and-a-half-year-old Aditi Pandey went missing from the Kokar area, with no trace of the child found even after more than 24 hours. The incident has left the family shattered and created a sense of panic among local residents.

As per information available, Aditi was playing outside her house with neighbouring children on the evening of May 9, between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m., when she suddenly disappeared. After she failed to return home, family members searched the area frantically but could not locate her. A missing person complaint was subsequently filed at the Sadar police station.

Police swung into action soon after the complaint was lodged and launched a large-scale search operation. CCTV footage from nearby areas is being reviewed, and residents are being questioned as part of the investigation. Teams of police personnel are continuously searching for the toddler.

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has personally taken note of the incident and instructed Ranchi Police to speed up efforts to trace the child. In a message posted on X, the Chief Minister asked officials to act promptly and keep him informed about the progress of the search operation.

Meanwhile, people in the locality have come forward to support the distressed family. Aditi’s photograph is being widely circulated on social media, while the family has appealed to the public to contact 6205250103 immediately if they receive any information related to the missing child.

Police officials said the investigation is underway from every possible angle as efforts continue to safely trace the toddler.
