'People Will Not Tolerate Insults to Women': Randhir Singh Hits Out at Pappu Yadav

Pakur: Former Jharkhand minister Randhir Singh launched a sharp attack on Purnia MP Pappu Yadav during a press conference held at Rajbari on Thursday, accusing him of promoting an anti-women mindset through his recent remarks.

Singh strongly objected to Yadav’s comments on women in politics, saying they reflect poorly on his character. He described the statements as offensive and indicative of a deep-rooted bias against women.

Condemning the remarks, Singh said that making derogatory comments about women is unacceptable, especially for someone in public office. He added that leaders must uphold dignity in their speech and conduct, pointing out that such statements not only insult women but also undermine societal values.

Taking his criticism further, Singh accused Yadav of hypocrisy and a lack of moral grounding. He said the public is now more aware and will not support leaders who disrespect women. According to him, voters in Purnia, Bihar, and Jharkhand will respond decisively to such behavior in the future.

Several BJP leaders, including Sarita Murmu (District President), Hisabi Rai (District Vice President), and Meira Pravin Singh, were also present at the press meet. They echoed similar sentiments, calling for strict action against politicians who use offensive language against women and urging for higher standards in public discourse.
