Jharkhand is proud of heroics of Lt Anurag says Raghubar, assures full support to kin

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that the entire state was proud of the bravery and heroic act of Lieutenant Anurag who has set the finest example of making the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty. Expressing his grief towards the family he said that by not thinking about his own life and jumping to save the life of other jawans who were drowning Anurag has made the entire state proud. He said that in this period of grief the 3.25 crore people of Jharkhand are with his family and assured that the government would extend all possible help.

On the state hand state BJP chief Laxman Giluwa too has offered his condolence towards family of Lt Anurag and said that his valor would be always remembered by the state. He said that in this period of grief the party was with his family and has demanded to given the kin of the deceased right compensation and honour.

Lieutenant Anurag Shukla of J and K 10 Rifle Battalion was posted at Sriganganagar of Rajasthan. Anurag lost his life while trying to save a jawan of his battalion who was drowning during a swimming practice, though the jawan was saved Anurag himself lost his life on Friday.
