CM Soren Emphasizes Constructive Debate Ahead of Assembly Monsoon Session

Ranchi: The monsoon session of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly is set to begin on Friday, even as heavy rainfall continues to affect various parts of the state.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren, addressing the media, expressed hope that the session would facilitate meaningful and constructive debate on critical issues impacting the people of Jharkhand.

“Legislators from all parties have personally witnessed the effects of the recent heavy rains,” Soren said. “We expect the discussions in the House to reflect the genuine concerns of both urban and rural communities.”

He stressed that the state government is attentive to public hardships and called for cooperation from the opposition to work together on pressing issues.

Commenting on the ongoing discussion surrounding Operation Sindoor, the Chief Minister said, “It concerns national interest, and I welcome the fact that such topics are being deliberated at the highest democratic platform. Matters like national security and women's dignity demand our sincere attention.”

The session is likely to focus on flood-related issues, infrastructure damage, and recent developments in law and order across the state.
