H1N1 Cases Rise in Ranchi, 11 Patients Test Positive at RIMS

Concern over H1N1 influenza is growing in Jharkhand amid changing weather conditions, with 11 patients testing positive for the infection at the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Ranchi.

Patients arriving at the hospital with symptoms resembling seasonal flu are being screened and tested for H1N1. Those who test positive are being kept in isolation and provided treatment separately to reduce the risk of transmission to other patients, attendants and hospital staff.
