Ranchi: A tragic incident occurred in the Anjuman Nagar area of Sahibganj, where a son-in-law allegedly stabbed his father-in-law to death. The victim, Mohammad Aslam, had married off his daughter two years ago to Mohammad Abdul, a resident of Jamalpur, Munger.
According to reports, a dispute had been ongoing between the two families. Late Wednesday night, Abdul arrived at his in-law's house and demanded his wife's farewell. Mohammad Aslam informed him that a decision would be made in the morning, which enraged Abdul. Shortly afterward, he entered the house through a back entrance. At that moment, Aslam was exiting the bathroom when Abdul fatally stabbed him in the chest.
Following the incident, police arrived at the hospital to investigate. They are currently searching for the accused. Police Deputy Superintendent K. Tirki confirmed that a heated argument over the farewell led to the stabbing, and efforts are underway to apprehend the suspect.
