Thousands of Struggle heroes of Jharkhand sacrificed and did struggle against injustice and exploitation – Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren

West Singhbhum: Jharkhand has always been the land of heroes and martyrs. Tribal Struggle heroes fought a long battle against injustice and exploitation.

Many sacrificed their lives for the protection of water, forest and land.

We can never forget his contribution as the pioneer of water-forest-land.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren was addressing the tribute meeting organized on the 29th martyrdom day of Martyr Devendra Majhi ji at Goilkera in West Singhbhum district on Saturday.

On this occasion, he paid tribute to Martyr Devendra Manjhi, the brave son of the soil of Jharkhand by laying a wreath at the Martyr Memorial.

The Chief Minister said that our heroes fought a long struggle for the movement of a separate Jharkhand state and for the protection of tribals, indigenous people and water, forest and land.

Now it becomes our responsibility to improve Jharkhand according to the dreams of these martyrs. Give the people here their rights and entitlements with full respect.

Our government is fully committed to this and is moving rapidly in this direction.

He said that the new construction of Jharkhand will be the true tribute to the martyrs.

The Chief Minister said that providing social security to the poor and needy here is a special priority of the government.

In this series, our government is giving social security pensions to all the elderly, disabled and widows through the Universal Pension Scheme.

The Chief Minister said that special instructions have been given to the officials to ensure that no elderly person is deprived of pension.

The Chief Minister said that through the Government Aapke Dwar program, work was done to solve the problems of lakhs of people by organizing camps in Panchayats and connecting them with the schemes.

The state and its people are being developed through many schemes like Chief Minister Employment Generation Scheme, Chief Minister Livestock Scheme, Savitribai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana, Phulo Jhano Ashirwad Yojana, Sona-Sobaran Dhoti Saree Scheme, Birsa Harit Gram Yojana and Nilambar Pitambar Jal Samridhi.
