Jharkhand Congress pays tributes to Pandit Nehru on his death anniversary

Ranchi: Under the aegis of the Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee, the death anniversary of the country’s first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was observed at the State Congress Office in Ranchi.

On the occasion, All India Congress Committee OBC Department Chairman Capt Ajay Singh Yadav and State Congress President Rajesh Thakur paid tribute to the portrait of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.

Captain Ajay Singh Yadav, Chairman, All India Congress Committee OBC Department, said that Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was not only the Prime Minister of India, but he was the architect of modern India. After independence, he built the country.

He was responsible for Industrialization in the country and laid the foundation stone for building a strong nation through the agricultural revolution. He led India at a time when the country was divided. The social fabric had disintegrated. As the first Prime Minister after independence, he paved the way for development by tying the country together.

Jharkhand Pradesh Congress President Rajesh Thakur said that Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru worked to advance the principles of Congress. India of the 21st century cannot be imagined without the contribution of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru he said adding that Nehru was a fearless watchdog of democracy, whose progressive ideas strongly propelled India’s social, political and economic development despite many challenges.
