DC chairs review meeting of various schemes related to welfare department

Ranchi: A review meeting of various schemes related to the Welfare Department was organized under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi Rahul Kumar Sinha. Project Director, ITDA Sudhir Bada, District Welfare Officer Sangeeta Sharan, various Block Welfare Officers and other related officials were present in the meeting organized in the Deputy Commissioner’s Auditorium.

In the meeting many schemes including pre/ post matriculation, Minority Scholarship Scheme, Chief Minister Employment Generation Scheme, Chief Minister Health Assistance Scheme, Chief Minister Livestock Development Scheme, PVTG Village Upliftment Scheme, Dhumkadia Building Construction Scheme, Minority Cemetery Siege, Sarna, Masna, Hargadi Siege of etc., repair and renovation of welfare departmental residential schools/hostels were reviewed in detail. 

He directed the District Welfare Officer to spend the remaining amount of the scholarship. During the review of the Chief Minister’s Employment Generation Scheme, it was told by Director ITDA that 86 percent amount has been spent under the scheme. Giving the benefit of the scheme to the remaining selected beneficiaries, the Deputy Commissioner directed to spend the amount.
