DC holds review of Chief Minister Drought Relief Scheme and other initiatives

Ranchi: Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar Sinha reviewed the Chief Minister’s Drought Relief Scheme, pending filing dismissal, Sou-Moto mutation, issuance of certificate and other revenue-related matters. Sub-Divisional Officer Sadar Ranchi and Bundu, Additional Collector Ranchi, Deputy Collector Land Reforms, District Agriculture Officer and all Zonal Officers were present in the meeting organized virtually.

Circlewise review of the applications received under the Chief Minister’s Drought Relief Scheme was done by the Deputy Commissioner. The Deputy Commissioner expressed happiness over the payment to the farmers under the scheme in the district. He directed all circle officers to execute pending and reverted applications under Drought Relief Scheme.

He said that whatever applications are pending with the Halka employee, they should be executed by field visits. The Deputy Commissioner said that under the Chief Minister’s Drought Relief Scheme, COs should check their login every day for speedy execution of cases in all categories.

The pending filing-dismissal cases in the district were also reviewed by Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar Sinha. In case of mutation pending for 30 and 90 days, the Deputy Commissioner directed all the Circle Officers to execute them as soon as possible.

In case of mutation pending for more than 90 days, the Deputy Commissioner directed Argora, Kanke, City, Nagdi and Badgai Circle Officers to execute them as soon as possible, asking the reason for pending more cases. The Deputy Commissioner said that whatever applications are being received under the Sou-Moto mutation the officials should ensure their execution.

While reviewing the pending cases related to land demarcation zone-wise, Deputy Commissioner Sinha directed all the circle officers to execute the cases soon. On the issue of certificates during the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner said that till now 1 lakh 57 thousand 650 certificates have been issued in the district.

Of these, 31 thousand of applications have been rejected. Taking necessary action in all the pending certificates, the Deputy Commissioner directed for their execution at the earliest.
