Bonfire (Alaav) arrangements at various places and blankets distribution by Forest Officers Wives Association (FOWA)

Ranchi: Ranchi is reeling under chilling unbearable cold due to a considerable drop in the temperature in the last few days. Hence, the President of FOWA Mrs. Vibha Srivastava continued the winter campaign in the new year to protect the poor people from harsh weather conditions.

Forest Officers wives Association (FOWA) members arranged bonfires (Alaav) at various places in Ranchi to provide some relief from severe cold waves to the homeless people who spend their nights under the open sky. They also distributed blankets to needy people to keep them warm.

President Vibha Srivastava, Vice President Ruchi Upadhyay, Secretary Poonam Ranjan, Joint Secretary Sunandita Das, Mrs. Ranjana Samanta, Mrs. Rajyashree Singh, Mrs. Pooja Bakshi, Mrs. Vishakha Verma arranged the resources to provide some comfort and warmth to the homeless and poor during this winter.
