Rabita Pahadia Murder Case: Suspected skull of victim recovered from pond in Borio

Sahibganj: Police swung into action after a skull was recovered from a pond under the Boria police station area of this district following the information from a fisherman.

The recovery took place at a time when the police in the district are leaving no stone unturned to find out the missing head of Rabita Paharia and a section of police officials suspect the skull to be the missing head. 

Concerned police officials of the district could not be available for comment, AV Homkar, IG (operations) and police spokesperson said the process is on for proper identification of the skull with the help of forensic science experts.

If the skull is identified as that of Rabita it will be the 29th piece of her body which was cut into 50 pieces and thrown at different places by her husband Dildar Ansari and in-laws after her refusal to accept her husband’s religion.
