Latehar: Three ultras belonging to the Jharkhand Janmukti Parishad (JJMP) were killed in an encounter inside Bendi forest located under the Sadar Police Station area of Latehar district of Jharkhand. At the time of the filing of the story the identity of the killed ultras has not been ascertained.
Police were continuing search and combing operations in Bendi and other surrounding areas. Latehar SP Anjani Anjan said that a tip-off had been received that JJMP supremo Pappu Lohra along with his squad was moving into the area with the intention of collecting levies and executing a crime.
Acting upon the information two teams were constituted including one led by SDPO Santosh Mishra and the second by SI Dharmendra Kumar.
