Cabinet meet on Nov 10 may decide on regularization of contractual personnel

Ranchi: A meeting of the State Cabinet has been called on November 10. This meeting to be held on Thursday will be held at Project Bhawan auditorium from 2 PM in the afternoon.

Regarding the cabinet meeting, the Cabinet Secretariat and Coordination Department has issued information and has written a letter to all the departments and directed them to provide documents for presenting the proposal in the cabinet meeting.

In this meeting to be chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren, a decision can be taken on bringing a policy for the regularization of contractual workers of the state. Recently, the Rajasthan government has also implemented such a policy, on the same lines, a decision can be taken to regularize contract workers in Jharkhand too.

For a long time, the contract workers were also demanding this. In the cabinet meeting, a decision can also be taken on the increase in DA of computer operators working on contract. Apart from this, on November 15, the state foundation day, the Chief Minister will announce new schemes, so it is possible that his approval should be taken before the cabinet. 

Apart from this, more than a dozen proposals including road construction will be approved in the cabinet. Approval will also be given to convene a one-day special session of the Legislative Assembly on November 11 in the cabinet meeting.

On this day the new domicile policy of Jharkhand and the 27 percent reservation bill for OBCs will be discussed.
