Elephants create havoc in Jainagar of Koderma

Koderma: A couple of elephants created havoc in separate villages falling under the Jainagar block of this district.

The grown-up tuskers caused the damage in Parsabad and Katiya village. First, they damaged a godown and ate away the flour which was stored inside, after that, they destroyed a hut and also broke the windows of a government school.

The villagers somehow managed to scare away the animals by burning torch lights. They have demanded compensation from the forest department for the losses incurred.
