Actress Ishita Dixit, who has been portraying Pari in the popular television show ‘Anupamaa’ for the past two years, has described the journey as a major milestone in her career and a transformative experience in her personal and professional life.

Reflecting on her association with the show, Ishita said that completing two years on a widely watched television series like ‘Anupamaa’ was a significant achievement for her. She expressed gratitude to producer Rajan Shahi for placing his trust in her and giving her the opportunity that changed the course of her life.

“Completing two years with a huge show like Anupamaa is a very, very big achievement and a big milestone for me,” the actress said.

She added that joining the show had brought a major change in her life and that she would always remain thankful to Rajan Shahi for giving her the role.

Looking back at her journey, Ishita said her character Pari has undergone considerable development since she first began playing her. The actress also believes that she has grown significantly as a performer over the past two years.

She credited her experience on the sets, particularly her interactions with senior actors, for helping her improve her acting skills. Observing their performances, understanding their working methods and sharing scenes with them have all contributed to her learning process.

Ishita described the experience as deeply rewarding and said she hoped her association with the show would continue for a long time. She expressed a strong desire to keep playing Pari, a character that has gradually become an important part of her life.

The actress also spoke about how portraying the same character for two years has influenced her personality. Initially, she felt that her real-life identity was quite different from Pari's. However, with time, she has begun to notice similarities between herself and the character.

According to Ishita, spending so much time portraying Pari has gradually blurred the distinction between her on-screen and off-screen identities. She now finds herself relating to some of the character's emotions, reactions and behaviour in ways she had not previously imagined.

For the actress, the two-year journey has therefore been about more than just professional success. It has also been a period of personal growth, artistic development and an evolving emotional connection with a character she hopes to portray for years to come.
