Ranveer Singh Enters ‘Beast Mode’ for High-Octane Revenge in ‘Dhurandhar’ Sequel

Mumbai– Bollywood star Ranveer Singh has intensified the excitement around the upcoming sequel to *Dhurandhar*, directed by Aditya Dhar. The actor has switched to “beast mode” as the story moves into a powerful revenge-driven narrative in the next instalment.

Sharing a glimpse of the film on Instagram, Ranveer posted the trailer and hinted that the storyline will push his character Hamza into a far more intense and personal territory. The sequel promises a gripping mix of action, emotion, and vengeance, raising the stakes from the first film.

In his Instagram post, he wrote: “Told you it was personal . . . Trailer Out Now. Book Now for Paid Previews on 18th March only. #DhurandharTheRevenge releases worldwide on 19 March, on Gudi Padwa, Ugadi, and Eid. Hindi | Telugu | Tamil | Kannada | Malayalam.”

The three-minute trailer shows Ranveer returning with fierce energy in dual roles as Jaskirat and Hamza. The film also features strong character arcs with R. Madhavan playing the strategic mastermind Ajay Sanyal, Arjun Rampal portraying the menacing ISI Major Iqbal, and Sanjay Dutt appearing as the powerful SP Chaudhary Aslam.

The tagline “Honsla. Eendhan. Badla.” reflects the intense revenge theme driving the sequel forward.

Presented by Jio Studios and produced by B62 Studios, *Dhurandhar: The Revenge* will be released in five languages — Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.

The spy-action spectacle is written, directed, and produced by Aditya Dhar, with Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar serving as producers.

Scheduled for a worldwide release on March 19, 2026, the film will arrive during the festive period of Gudi Padwa and Ugadi, just ahead of Eid al-Fitr.

The film reportedly draws inspiration from real-life geopolitical tensions and covert intelligence operations carried out by India’s external intelligence agency, the Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW). It also references events linked to the 2008 Mumbai attacks and other crackdowns on criminal syndicates.
