Rhea Chakraborty enjoys crispy dosa during Hyderabad visit

Mumbai- Actress Rhea Chakraborty, who recently attended the wedding reception of actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, indulged in a delicious South Indian meal while in Hyderabad, sharing a glimpse of her culinary treat with fans.

The actress posted a picture of herself enjoying a plate of crispy Dosa served with chutney and sambhar, highlighting her love for the city’s iconic flavours as she soaked in the local food experience.

She also shared a photograph with the newly married couple and wrote: “Can't stand in between these two and not feel the love. Congratulations to the most stunning couple.. Uff Love and light.”

Rhea began her television career in 2009 with the TVS Scooty Teen Diva on MTV India, where she finished as the first runner-up. She later went on to host several shows on the channel.

In 2012, she made her film debut with the Telugu movie Tuneega Tuneega, playing the character Nidhi. The following year, she entered Bollywood with Mere Dad Ki Maruti as Jasleen. In 2014, she appeared as Sonali in Sonali Cable.

She was last seen on screen in the mystery thriller Chehre, directed by Rumi Jaffery. The film featured Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi in lead roles, along with Krystle D'Souza, Siddhanth Kapoor, Annu Kapoor, Alexx O'Nell, Samir Soni, Dhritiman Chatterjee and Raghubir Yadav in supporting roles. The film is an uncredited adaptation of the 1956 German novel A Dangerous Game by Friedrich Dürrenmatt.

Rhea is set to make her acting comeback after nearly seven years with the upcoming Family Business, produced by Hansal Mehta. Announced in February 2026, the series will also feature Anil Kapoor and Vijay Varma.

In another development, on October 3, 2025, Rhea revealed that she had received her passport back after five years. The Bombay High Court directed the Narcotics Control Bureau to return her passport, which had been seized in 2020 in connection with a drugs case linked to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

A bench headed by Justice Neela Gokhale ordered the restoration of her passport, noting there was no reason to doubt the actress’s intentions.

The court allowed the return of her passport on the condition that she attend every hearing unless exempted by the trial court. She was also directed to share her travel schedule — including flight and hotel details — with the prosecution at least four days before leaving the country.

Additionally, the court instructed her to keep her mobile phone active, share her number with authorities, and inform the investigating agencies immediately upon her return to India.
