Popular television actor Arjun Bijlani recently took a trip down memory lane, recalling his days on the hit show Naagin alongside Mouni Roy and Adaa Khan, as he joined the trending “2026 is the new 2016” nostalgia wave.
Arjun shared a series of throwback photographs on his official Instagram handle, featuring moments from nearly a decade ago. One of the images showed him posing with Mouni Roy and Adaa Khan, with both actresses dressed in matching white sarees with golden borders, while Arjun appeared in traditional ethnic attire.
Captioning the post, Arjun wrote, “Moments of 2016!! #nostalgia #time #arjunbijlani.”
The post also included several personal throwback moments, featuring his wife Neha and son Ayaan, along with behind-the-scenes glimpses from his participation in the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9. Additional photos highlighted memorable moments from different phases of his life in 2016.
The first season of Naagin, starring Mouni Roy, Arjun Bijlani, and Adaa Khan in lead roles, originally aired from November 1, 2015, to June 5, 2016, and went on to become a massive success. Arjun and Mouni were especially loved for their on-screen roles as Ritik and Shivanya.
The duo was recently seen together again at the wedding reception of Nupur Sanon and singer Stebin Ben. Arjun shared pictures from the event on Instagram, congratulating the newlyweds and sparking nostalgia among fans with his reunion photo with Mouni Roy.
Fans were quick to react in the comments section, with several users reminiscing about the iconic Ritik–Shivanya pairing. Comments such as “The last slide literally gives Ritik Shivanya vibes” and “Rivanya reunion” reflected the enduring popularity of the on-screen couple among television audiences.
