Mumbai — A wave of grief swept across the nation following a powerful explosion near Delhi’s Red Fort Metro Station on Monday evening, which claimed the lives of more than 10 people and left several others injured.

Members of the Indian film fraternity expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident, extending their condolences to the bereaved families and prayers for the injured.

Actress Raveena Tandon took to social media to share her anguish, writing:

“Condolences to all those bereaved families who lost their loved ones in the Delhi blast. Horrible news.”

Actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood posted:

“My heart reaches out to everyone impacted by today’s tragic blast near the Red Fort in Delhi ?. Let’s support the victims, look out for each other, and commit to peace.”

Tamil superstar and political leader Thalapathy Vijay also expressed his shock, stating:

“Deeply shocked and saddened by the news of the car explosion near Red Fort Metro, Delhi, that has claimed precious lives. My heartfelt condolences to the families who lost their loved ones. Wishing a speedy recovery to all those injured.”

Actress Riddhima Kapoor offered her prayers through Instagram Stories, writing:
