‘Jassi Weds Jassi’ Trailer Promises a Riot of Confusion and Comedy with Ranvir Shorey, Sikandar Kher, and Harshhvardhan Singh Deo

Mumbai — The makers of the upcoming comedy “Jassi Weds Jassi” have unveiled its much-awaited trailer, offering audiences a peek into a laugh-out-loud rollercoaster of mix-ups, mistaken identities, and nostalgic 90s romance.

Featuring Ranvir Shorey, Sikandar Kher, and Harshhvardhan Singh Deo in lead roles, the film promises a riotous comedy of errors packed with quirky characters, endearing chaos, and a twist that turns love into confusion.

Sharing the trailer on social media, the makers captioned it: “One name. Endless chaos. Love, laughter and a twist that changes everything! #JassiWedsJassiTrailer Out NOW! 90s masti begins—don’t miss this madness! #JassiWedsJassi in cinemas 7th November!”

Set in Haldwani during the late 1990s, the story evokes the charm of a bygone era filled with cassette dedications, stolen glances, and landline conversations. But when a seemingly harmless mix-up between two people named Jassi spirals out of control, it sets off a whirlwind of confusion and hilarity.

At the heart of the film is Harshhvardhan Singh Deo as the romantic and earnest Jassi, who believes he has finally found his soulmate — another Jassi, played by Rehmat Rattan. But fate intervenes with yet another Jassi, leading to an uproarious chain of misunderstandings.

Ranvir Shorey portrays a well-intentioned yet perpetually frazzled lover trying to make sense of the chaos, while Sikandar Kher adds to the madness as a suave mischief-maker. The ensemble cast also features Manu Rishi Chadha as a rule-bound yet lovelorn police officer dispensing dubious advice, Sudesh Lehri delivering his trademark humor, and Grusha Kapoor as the no-nonsense but warm matriarch who tries to hold it all together.

Sharing his excitement, Sikandar Kher said, “Sometimes, one name can turn a love story into a comedy of errors — and that’s exactly what makes Jassi Weds Jassi so much fun. It’s emotional, funny, and incredibly relatable. I had a blast shooting for this mad film.”

Ranvir Shorey added, “This is one of those stories where a small mix-up snowballs into absolute madness. I’ve always loved films that make you laugh out loud every time you rewatch them — and this one fits that perfectly.”

Meanwhile, Harshhvardhan Singh Deo described the film as a blend of innocence and nostalgia. “It captures the purity of first love and the chaos that comes with it. It’s about how one simple name can turn everything upside down — and that’s what makes it unforgettable.”

Directed by Paran Bawa, “Jassi Weds Jassi” is set to hit theatres on November 7, 2025.
