Sonam Bajwa Calls ‘Dil Dil Dil’ from Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat a Tribute to Timeless Melodies

Mumbai – Actress Sonam Bajwa has revealed that her latest song, “Dil Dil Dil” from the upcoming film Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, is her heartfelt tribute to the unforgettable musical classics of the past.

In an exclusive statement to IANS, Sonam shared her admiration for evergreen tunes and the emotions they evoke. “When I heard the tune, I felt transported — like meeting an old friend in a new place. Dil Dil Dil is my tribute to those unforgettable melodies from the past, but it also carries the soul of today. While dancing, I wanted every emotion to flow — longing, joy, vulnerability — so that when the camera captures me, it captures my heart, not just my steps,” she said.

Sonam also posted the song on Instagram with the caption: “Uski Adaa Tod degi har deewane ka #DilDilDil Song out now, only on @playdmfofficial YouTube Channel #EkDeewaneKiDEEWANIYAT Trailer out now: In Cinemas this Diwali - 21st Oct, 2025.”

The track, featuring Sonam Bajwa and Harshvardhan Rane, is sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and showcases Sonam’s energetic and captivating dance performance.

Written by Mushtaq Shaikh, co-written and directed by Milap Zaveri, and produced by Raghav Sharma, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat marks the first on-screen collaboration between Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa.

The teaser for the romantic drama, released on August 22, offered a glimpse into a passionate tale of love, heartbreak, and redemption. It opened with Harshvardhan and Sonam’s characters reuniting after a painful separation, hinting at an emotional journey filled with obsession and longing.

Producer Anshul Garg described the film as “a story of emotions that are intense and unforgettable,” adding that “the teaser captures some of that fire, and I hope audiences connect with its passion as deeply as they have with its music.”

Originally slated for an earlier release, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat will now hit theaters on October 21, coinciding with Diwali.
