Deepika Singh grooves to Falguni Pathak’s tunes, says 'Weekend vibe is full on'

Mumbai: Television star Deepika Singh embraced the weekend mood by dancing joyfully to Falguni Pathak’s hit song Saawan Mein.

The actress posted a video on Instagram showing her dancing freely on a roadside, surrounded by greenery.

In her caption, Deepika wrote: “Weekend off nahi but weekend vibe to full on hai” (No weekend off, but the weekend vibe is on full blast).

Saawan Mein was originally released in 2001. Known for her distinct voice and music inspired by traditional Gujarati sounds, Falguni Pathak made her debut in 1998 and has sung many beloved Bollywood tracks. Her music often revolves around the theme of love.

Some of her most popular songs include Chudi Jo Khanki Haathon Mein, Maine Payal Hai Chhankai, Meri Chunar Udd Udd Jaye, Ayi Pardes Se Pariyon Ki Rani, and Saawan Mein.

Recently, Deepika delighted fans with a fun video from the set of her current show Mangal Lakshmi, where a monkey is seen happily munching on bananas.

She captioned it with: “Gather knowledge persistently as monkeys collect bananas. It’s your stepping stone towards success.”

Mangal Lakshmi, a Hindi remake of the Kannada show Bhagyalakshmi, stars Deepika Singh, Sanika Amit, Naman Shaw, and Shubham Dipta. The series follows Mangal’s mission to find the ideal match for her sister Lakshmi, as love and challenges test their bond, revealing the power of destiny.
