Saiyami Kher Reflects on Returning to ‘Special Ops’ After Five Years

Mumbai — Actress Saiyami Kher has shared her excitement and emotions about returning to the sets of Special Ops Season 2 after a five-year break, calling the experience nostalgic and creatively fulfilling.

Reuniting with the cast and crew felt like stepping back into a familiar world, Saiyami revealed. "Coming back to Special Ops after five years was incredibly nostalgic. It brought back a wave of memories — from the intensity of shooting the action-packed scenes to the bond we shared as a team," she said.

She further added, "Working again with Neeraj Pandey sir and Kay Kay Menon is always a learning experience. Their vision and dedication to the craft challenge you to deliver your absolute best every single time."

Following the success of the first season, Saiyami is thrilled to reunite with director Neeraj Pandey and acclaimed actor Kay Kay Menon for the highly anticipated next chapter of the hit spy thriller. The Jaat actress will reprise her role in the gripping espionage world crafted by Pandey.

The upcoming season promises a powerful combination of familiar faces and new talent. Returning to the series are Kay Kay Menon, Karan Tacker, Vinay Pathak, Meher Vij, Muzammil Ibrahim, and Saiyami Kher, while new additions include Tahir Raj Bhasin and Prakash Raj.

Special Ops 2 dives into the high-risk world of digital warfare, with Himmat Singh facing off against a growing technological threat. The new season is set to premiere on July 11, 2025, exclusively on Jio Hotstar.

On the work front, Saiyami was last seen in Agni alongside Pratik Gandhi. She is also preparing for her Malayalam cinema debut, where she will be seen opposite acclaimed actor Roshan Mathew.
