Health Dept to look into providing better facilities to journalists: Minister

Ranchi: State’s Health Minister Banna Gupta said that his department will work to provide better health care facilities to the journalists in the state. 

Speaking after handing over the keys of an ambulance for the press club he said that the journalists too needed to remain healthy as than only they would be able to actively contribute in the society.

President of Ranchi press club Rajesh Singh that health care was the most important issue for the journalists and since their lifestyle was erratic therefore it often raises health issues, therefore, he urged the minister to launch any new scheme or include the journalists in any other old scheme of the health department. 

The ambulance will be available free of cost for the journalists and their family members
