KYAAR to make its impact in Jharkhand, fog and thunderstorms predicted

Ranchi: Ranchi and Jamshedpur and other towns of the state will be soon witnessing foggy weather due to the cyclonic storm KYAAR which is rapidly moving forward.

In the next 48 hours, this storm is expected to weaken further due to which heavy to very heavy rainfall will take place in Lakshdweep while states like Kerala, Maharashtra, TamilNadu, Puducherry and Kerala are also expected to receive heavy rainfall.

Apart from that, the coastal regions of Andhra Pradesh Rayalseema Telangana and Souther regions of Karnataka are also expected to receive heavy rainfall.

The Indian Met Department in its predictions has said that in these areas lightning can also be expected while the wind speed will be anywhere between 40 to 155 kilometers. On Thursday all these areas will witness rainfall thunderstorms and lightning.

On the other hand, the MET office in Ranchi in its predictions for Thursday has said that Ranchi and Jamshedpur will remain under thick fog cover. Some of the districts will also witness cloud cover and many others will record thunderstorms. In the days to come the temperature in the state will be between 16 to 20 degree celsius.
