On Vishwakarma Puja, CM Hemant Soren salutes workers and their role in building Jharkhand

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren extended greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Vishwakarma Puja, highlighting the contribution of workers and skilled professionals to the development of society and the country.

In his message, Soren acknowledged the countless people whose labour, skills and dedication contribute to building everything from homes and workplaces to industries and wider infrastructure.

The Chief Minister prayed to Lord Vishwakarma, traditionally revered as the divine architect and craftsman, for strength, respect and success for every working hand.

Soren said labour and creativity form the foundation of social and economic progress and called for greater respect for those who contribute through their work and skills.

He also appealed to people to reaffirm their commitment to respecting labour and creation on the occasion of Vishwakarma Puja. He said collective effort and dedication can help build a more prosperous and empowered Jharkhand.

The Chief Minister further prayed for happiness, peace and prosperity in the lives of the people of the state and extended his wishes to everyone celebrating the festival.

Vishwakarma Puja is traditionally observed by artisans, mechanics, engineers, factory workers, craftsmen and people associated with tools, machinery and manufacturing, with workplaces often organising special prayers for their equipment and tools.
