IIM Ranchi Placements Hit New Highs with Rs. 1.2 Cr EMBA Offer and Strong MBA Results

Jamshedpur: Indian Institute of Management Ranchi has reported an impressive placement season for the 2025–26 academic year, showcasing rising salary packages, increased recruiter participation, and strong outcomes across all programmes.

One of the biggest highlights came from the Executive MBA (EMBA) batch, where a student secured a remarkable ?1.2 crore offer for a leadership role. Meanwhile, the flagship MBA programme recorded a highest package of ?52.50 lakh per annum, reflecting strong industry confidence.

The placement report, released on May 6 in the presence of Director Prof. Deepak Kumar Srivastava and Corporate Relations Chairperson Prof. Rajeev Verma, also highlighted a 4.19% rise in the highest domestic CTC compared to last year.

This year, 96 recruiters participated in the placement process, with 53 new companies joining in. The batch size also grew by over 31%, along with improvements in pre-placement offers (PPOs) and average salaries. The institute further strengthened industry connections by hosting more than 70 leadership talks on campus.

The MBA programme saw steady growth, with an average salary of ?19.24 lakh and the top 25% earning an average of ?24.83 lakh. PPOs stood at 22.35%. Notably, women made up nearly 43% of the batch, while freshers accounted for over 72%.

In the MBA-HRM programme, strong recruiter trust was reflected in a 40.54% PPO rate. The highest package reached ?22.75 lakh, with an average of ?17.74 lakh.

The MBA in Business Analytics programme recorded a sharp rise, with the highest package jumping to ?32.13 lakh. The average salary stood at ?20.99 lakh.

Top recruiters included major companies like Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, JPMorgan Chase, and Cognizant, among others.

Adding to its achievements, IIM Ranchi recently entered the QS Executive MBA Rankings 2026, further boosting its global presence. With strong placements and growing industry engagement, the institute continues to strengthen its reputation among India’s top management schools.
